Lumber

Taeda pine boards are the most widely used product as a basic material, their characteristics allow great versatility in terms of their uses, both for construction and for the realization of wooden products. These are mostly exported to the Asian market. All our wood comes from forests with FSC® certification (forest stewardship council)

All boards for export have a humidity of 12%.

Mass Timber

Within these we find the CLT and the Glulam

CLT

The Cross-laminated timber is a solid, multi-layered timber construction material. Thanks to its excellent physical and mechanical properties, this laminar timber material has both exceptional thermal insulation properties and resistance, dissipating loads in several directions.

These are climate-smart solutions, interestingly combining low weight with high load capacity and the possibility of large spans. Additionally, frame systems offer flexibility so that they can be easily changed if that is needed over time. They simply create freedom.

Areas of application

Detached houses and apartment buildings

Multi-storey residential buildings

Industrial and hall-type buildings

Construction of modules and systems

Office buildings, schools and nurseries

Urban densification

Ceilings, roof structures, walls, beams

Advantages

Possible to combine loads using all products of the Pleasant, comfortable room climate.

Quick and easy assembly.

Lower dead weight than reinforced concrete.

High fire resistance and chemical resistance, high thermal insulation properties.

Positive effects on climate protection due to storage of CO2.

Ecologically and sustainable building material

Glulam

Glulam is a stress-rated engineered wood product composed of wood laminations, or “lams,” that are bonded together with structural class, waterproof adhesives.

Pound for pound, glulam is stronger than steel and has greater strength and stiffness in comparison with other sized dimensional lumber.

Areas of application

Straight beams, ridge beams, and floor beams

Columns, including round, square, and complex sections

Tied rafters

Arched bridge supports

Curved beams
